Introduction

At Mogotel Hotel Group, we recognize the vital role that sustainable practices play in ensuring the longevity of our environment, the well-being of the communities we serve, and the success of our business. As a hotel group operating in Baltic states, and Europe, we are committed to embedding sustainability into every aspect of our operations. Our goal is to achieve international sustainability certification for all of our own brand hotels in Latvia and Estonia, as well as our franchised hotels across Europe, by the end of 2026. We aim to provide our guests with sustainable accommodation and enriching experiences that enhance their connection to the environment and local communities.

Objectives and Targets

By the end of 2026, our aim is to certify all of our own brand hotels in Latvia and Estonia, as well as our franchised hotels in Europe, under the Green Key certification program. To support this commitment, we have set the following specific targets:

  1. Energy Efficiency: Introduce and implement energy consumption reducing procedures and appliances across all properties.
  2. Water Conservation: Introduce and implement water usage reducing procedures and appliances.
  3. Waste Management: Introduce and implement waste scaling procedures and waste minimization guidelines in order to reach a reduction in waste sent to landfills.
  4. Guest Engagement: Develop programs to educate our guests about our sustainable practices.
  5. Sustainable Experiences: Enhance guest offerings.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Conduct annual reviews of our sustainability practices and report progress to stakeholders.

We are committed to achieving sustainability standards that align with best practices in the hospitality industry, setting ambitious, measurable targets that reflect our dedication to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and continuous improvement while providing our guests with memorable, responsible travel.

Monitoring and Reporting

We will prepare ESG reports, not only tracking progress internally, but also successfully demonstrating it to customers and business partners. We will conduct regular internal audits to assess our performance against sustainability targets and Green Key certification criteria.
