Sustainability Policy For Mogotel Hotel Group
Introduction
At Mogotel Hotel Group, we recognize the vital role that sustainable practices play in ensuring the longevity of our environment, the well-being of the communities we serve, and the success of our business. As a hotel group operating in Baltic states, and Europe, we are committed to embedding sustainability into every aspect of our operations. Our goal is to achieve international sustainability certification for all of our own brand hotels in Latvia and Estonia, as well as our franchised hotels across Europe, by the end of 2026. We aim to provide our guests with sustainable accommodation and enriching experiences that enhance their connection to the environment and local communities.
Objectives and Targets
By the end of 2026, our aim is to certify all of our own brand hotels in Latvia and Estonia, as well as our franchised hotels in Europe, under the Green Key certification program. To support this commitment, we have set the following specific targets:
We are committed to achieving sustainability standards that align with best practices in the hospitality industry, setting ambitious, measurable targets that reflect our dedication to environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and continuous improvement while providing our guests with memorable, responsible travel.
Monitoring and Reporting
We will prepare ESG reports, not only tracking progress internally, but also successfully demonstrating it to customers and business partners. We will conduct regular internal audits to assess our performance against sustainability targets and Green Key certification criteria. Progress reports will be shared with management, employees and guests, promoting transparency and accountability of our sustainability efforts.
Communication and Engagement
Continuous Improvement
Sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to continuously improving our practices. We will regularly review our policies and objectives, adapting them to meet evolving environmental challenges and stakeholder expectations. Feedback from employees, guests, and local communities will play a crucial role in this process.
Conclusion
At Mogotel Hotel Group our commitment to sustainability is a fundamental aspect of our operations. We understand that the journey towards sustainable hospitality requires ongoing effort, collaboration, and adaptation. By establishing clear objectives and targets, we are not only working towards international sustainable certifications in our hotels, but also enhancing the overall experience for our guests and positively impacting the communities we serve.
We believe that every small step contributes to a larger change, and we invite our guests, employees, and partners to join us in this important mission. Together, we can create a more sustainable future, where responsible practices enrich the travel experience and foster a deeper connection with the environment and local cultures.
