Mogotel opens a new hotel in Essen, Germany - RAMADA BY WYNDHAM ESSEN.
Mogotel continues to successfully expand its network and opened a new hotel in Essen, Germany, on 1st of July - RAMADA BY WYNDHAM ESSEN. Ramada is the third hotel that Mogotel is opening under the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brand. Two more hotels under the agreement began operations in early 2022 - the 4-star Wyndham Garden Munich Messe business hotel in Munich, Germany, and the 5-star Wyndham Wroclaw Old Town Hotel in Wroclaw, Poland.
The project is implemented by MV Hotels, the owner of Wellton Hotels brand in Riga.
The RAMADA BY WYNDHAM ESSEN hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Essen, close to the Central Station and 31 km from Düsseldorf International Airport. The market church, the Philharmonic Hall, Borbeck Castle, and other sights are within walking distance. Modern Essen is a city of modern art, culture, and shopping, nestled picturesquely in the hilly plain between the Ruhr Valley and the Rhine-Herne Canal.
The RAMADA BY WYNDHAM ESSEN has 176 comfortable rooms. 24-hour reception, room service, luggage room, business centre, children's playground, dry cleaning service, SunnySide Restaurant, and RedCorner Bar are available. The hotel is an excellent choice for those traveling by car - secure parking and a charging station for electric cars are available. The hotel offers a large conference area of approximately 442 square metres, which can be divided into 10 rooms and accommodate up to 280 people.
"The hotel business in Germany is very dependent on the resumption of business travel. All the big international trade fairs are now back in operation, so the situation in the big cities has changed markedly for the better. In addition, the volume of domestic tourism continues to grow during the summer months. The war in Ukraine has not affected the flow of tourists, as Germany is considered a safe region, unlike the countries bordering Russia or Ukraine. By analyzing and comparing all these figures, we can state that the number of reservations has almost completely returned to the figures of the 'pre-pandemic' period," said Vadim Mukhin, owner of the Mogotel Hotel Group.
"This will be the first RAMADA in Essen and the first RAMADA run by Mogotel," says Elena Stirna, CEO of Mogotel. - We can speak with confidence about the successful development of our activities in Germany. In 5 months of operation, our first hotel in Munich reached +5-7% RevPAR (revenue per available room per day), compared to competitors according to STR Global research. We are planning to open other projects in Germany in the near future".
