Come and join the team, and be Assistant to General Manager (HR) at a new hotel in Sweden which is coming soon. 

Your day to day: 

  • To comply with the laws and regulations of the state and local authorities, as well as to draw up internal rules of order, safety, hygiene, etc., and to control their observance.
  • Manage the hotel staff HR related topics. 
  • Providing documentation and reporting support. 
  • Assists managers in preparation of various reports and presentations.
  • Educate and train managers on HR disciplines to foster productivity and enhance performance.
  • Welcome and conduct new team member orientation.
  • Oversee maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees. 
  • Ensure hiring standards and applicable laws and regulations are followed.  
  • Build great relations with outside contacts.
  • Help create and work within the HR budget.   
  • Make time to interact with guests to hear feedback and build relationships to understand how team members can increase guest satisfaction. 
  • Work with department managers to develop initiatives to reach service standards and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience. 
  • Provides administrative support to manager/s and department.

What we need from you:

  • You have experience in any operational role in the hotel/tourism industry.
  • You have experience in HR management. 
  • You have a university degree in business administration, hotel/hospitality management or other relevant field.
  • You have strong leadership skills.
  • You are hands-on and focused on delivering results with a strong attention to detail.
  • You are able to independently plan and organise your own working time as well as that of your staff.
  • You have a good knowledge of Swedish and English (knowledge of other languages will be an advantage).
